Experience:Paul has extensive knowledge and experience from growing up with a family that fostered. Jackie also has experience of working alongside children in her previous employment and supporting a child with ADHD. The couple have recently successfully supported a 6 year old child with attachment disorder enabling him to return to his long term foster carers. They also provide regular respite care for an 11 year child who has a severe attachment disorder which manifests in challenging behaviours inclduing verabl abuse and high levels of stealing.

Experience: Ian and Penny have over 12 years experience as foster carers and have worked with children exhibiting a wide range of behaviours and difficulties. They have successfully cared and supported many children moving enabling them to reach their full potential. Penny and Ian live in a rural location in a converted barn surrounded by fields but in close proximity to the Cornish coastline. They have good links into the local community and the city of Truro is easily accessible as is Plymouth.

Experience:Paula and Nigel have previously cared for a 14 year old female and her baby until independence who displayed many behavioural difficulties including drug use, absconding and stealing - they remain supportive of this young person within the community. They have undergone training with BILD, ADVA - looking at the impact of Domestic Violence and Abuse on children and young people. They reside in a Cornish town but have their own farm close by. There are plenty of activities, educational and leisure facilities all within walking distance of the family home.

Experience: Lorraine and John have both worked with young people within the community including Youth work and prison support. They reside in Plymouth close to the city centre, but also within easy reach of both the coastline and the countryside. They have recently completed renovation work on their property which has been specifically designed to enable young people to be supported in a warm and loving environment. They have undergone extensive training in child protection, domestic violence and positive behaviour support.
