FIRST AID TRAINING - WELL WORTH IT!

Following First Aid Training at the Tavistock office one of our carers came across a serious head on collision the same day of her training. This carer was able to clear and keep a young Man's airways clear until the paramedics arrived. This foster carer saved this young persons life and had the confidence to assist due to having completed her first aid training.
Another carer having completed his training 2 weeks previous to a holiday abroad came across an old man choking in a park in Rome - the old Man's grandson was trying to assist him by lying him down and blowing into his mouth - luckily the carer recalled his training and was able to clear this old Man's throat and thus saved his life.
So training really can help!
