Welcome to The Fostering Foundation

We provide placements for children and young people who are unable to live with their families and require a household that will support them, provide advice, nurture, empowerment and show resilience to enable children to make decisions and form positive relationships.

Anyone can apply to become a foster carer, and all our regions are currently looking to recruit new carers to deal with the increasing number of children placed in foster care. Please explore our website, we have useful articles on becoming a foster carer, and answers to many of your questions are on our regional pages.

If you would like to apply to be a carer, or need more information, please contact us today.

If you work for a Local Authority, please find out how to make a referral or read more about us.

  • The agency is very supportive, there is always someone there to help and I would not leave to work anywhere else.

  • Thanks ever so much for the excellent work both you and DW have undertaken. The service has been brilliant and I would most certainly recommend your agency in the future.

  • Ms needs were always put first and his mother was treated with respect and fairness even in some frustrating periods of the placement. R&H communicate very well with other professionals and their contribution at meetings was excellent. I hope to work with them again in the future.
